Lessons and Scheduling

Lessons are offered once a week.

In each lesson, we will work on tone, technique, solo repertoire, and basic music theory. Students are welcome to bring materials from school or community ensemble for study as well.

Attendance

Consistent attendance is very important for student success. If you have a lesson time conflict, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule. I will do my best to accommodate scheduling needs.

Books

I do require specific tone and technique books based on a student’s playing level. The list of required materials will be sent to you after the first lesson.

Discontinuing Lessons

If you would like to discontinue lessons, please let me know one month in advance.

Practice

We will work together in lessons to create a daily practice plan to accommodate student and family activities! I find that creating a practice plan leads to consistency and student success.

Studio Recitals

We will have one studio recital a year to gather as a community and showcase student’s musical growth!
